Auritas Delivers New White Paper on SAP S/4HANA® in Collaboration with Dell EMC
Experts delve into multiple migration paths, providing enterprises with a roadmap for SAP S/4HANA migration.
Orlando, Fla., June 14, 2017 –
Auritas today announced the release of a collaborative educational piece with Dell EMC entitled “ERP Migration to SAP S/4HANA®: A Tactical Roadmap for Success.” The idea was derived from observations made during a series of successful events focused on SAP S/4HANA that the two organizations co-sponsored.
They noted the need for a high-level migration roadmap to SAP S/4HANA and decided to fulfill the demand. The resulting white paper includes technical descriptions accompanied by self-explanatory graphics that outline the three most common scenarios organizations encounter when undertaking an ERP migration – system conversion, landscape transformation and new implementations. The 11-page document also includes valuable insight into common IT objectives and provides expert recommendations for getting started.
SAP S/4HANA is designed for in-memory computing, allowing companies to “Run Live” by gaining instant access to detailed, real-time information. Available in the cloud or on-premise, SAP S/4HANA is the digital core that enables businesses to take advantage of the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, real-time analytics, mobile technology and business networks.
The migration roadmap for SAP S/4HANA is for organizations considering, or already on the path to, an ERP migration, including organizations striving to derive fresh insights from the data stored in disparate ERP systems. It clearly explains the value proposition of SAP S/4HANA, identifies three key system conversion elements, and illustrates a roadmap for success while accounting for the unique scenarios invested parties encounter during an upgrade of this magnitude. “Our goal was to deliver an educational piece that bridged the knowledge gap frequently encountered during the various phases involved in undertaking an ERP migration,” noted Niraj Pant, co-author and practice head for Auritas Delivery, SAP S/4HANA. “By outlining all three conversion paths and directly addressing the disparities of each path, this white paper serves as an excellent foundation to nearly every organization interested in upgrading their ERP.”
