The Challenge
A municipal organization in the Greater Chicago area faced challenges with its existing GIS environment, including poor data quality, outdated workflows, and limited mapping capabilities. Legacy sewer maps and data were fragmented, and the lack of integration between ESRI and SAP restricted visibility into infrastructure assets and slowed decision-making.
The Solution
Auritas modernized the geospatial landscape by implementing and configuring the full ESRI software suite and consolidating legacy sewer maps, metadata, and statistical data into a unified ESRI database. Custom map layouts, enhanced visualizations, and tailored features improved usability and insight.
Full ESRI–SAP integration ensured synchronized asset and location data, while streamlined field data collection and ongoing GIS administration supported long-term reliability. The result was a modern, data-driven geospatial environment enabling accurate, accessible, and location-aware insights for faster, more informed decisions.
